A little more about me …
I grew up on a mini-farm in NJ and thought I would one day be a veterinarian or equestrian. Chickens were just one of the many pets I raised – did you know they can lay eggs of various pastel colors?
Here’s a surprise: I don’t have a cliche “I was born with a camera in my hand” story to tell you. Honestly, that is not how I ended up here, today … documenting love, life, laughter and all that happens in-between. It’s quite a journey – and it all started with a black & white film photography course senior year of college (where I spent more hours in the dark room than I did at the bar). Post graduation, I put my marketing degree to work, spending my free time dabbling with old film cameras. With the encouragement and support of my husband, I said goodbye to years of project management and dove head-first in to life as a photography business owner!
Connecting with couples and families fuels my soul – I get giddy for a session and immerse myself fully in the emotional rawness of a wedding celebration. While I pour my heart in to my time behind the camera, I equally love going for a long walk along the Schuylkill River or curling up on the couch to read a book (hashtag #ambivert).
What else do I enjoy? The many adventures of motherhood, experiencing new cultures while traveling the world, collecting old film cameras, spending time surrounded by nature, hiking, horseback riding, chasing the Aurora Borealis, yummy gluten-free treats and discovering new ciders.
